What is a Custom Cable?

A custom cable is a cable made to fit your specific needs.  It could be a standard cable made to a non-standard length, or a cable with unique connectors, splits, pads, switches, voltage regulators, DC isolators, RF suppression, etc., so it works with specific equipment in a specific environment. It is custom because you can’t buy it at Rat Shack or your local music store.

Cables are the glue that holds your pieces of equipment together.  Using the wrong cable is much like using the wrong or poor quality glue; you cannot produce a good product. Without the proper equipment and cables, frustration builds making your day even less rewarding. 

For over 25 years, Vark Audio has been making specialized cables for audio professionals and for other professional applications. These have been a myriad of varieties – from very unusual one-use cables to something as simple as a ‘standard’ cable made to a specific length to fit your situation.
